There are famous starships. There are legendary starships. And then there is the USS Endocrine.
Inspired by Leah Rewolinski’s cult-favorite Star Wreck parody novels of the 1990s, this one-of-one 1/1000-scale display model brings Captain Smirk’s profoundly improbable command to life.
Built from a Polar Lights Refit Enterprise kit, the model has been extensively transformed using Modelwerks-designed conversion components and custom markings. Its unmistakable cup-shaped command section, illuminated interior, glowing blue nacelles, and lighted smiley-face deflector turn the familiar starship silhouette into a display piece that is equal parts craftsmanship, nostalgia, and complete nonsense.
The model was fully built, converted, painted, detailed, and illuminated by Modelwerks artist Ron Gamble.
