Before Kirk faced the Gorn captain,
The Enterprise faced this ship.
Created for the 2006 remastered edition of the classic Original Series episode “Arena,” this four-nacelle Gorn vessel carried the forces responsible for the devastating attack on Cestus III.
After the Enterprise survived the ambush and recovered its landing party, Kirk pursued the fleeing Gorn ship into uncharted space. The chase ended only when the Metrons immobilized both vessels and removed their captains to settle the conflict face-to-face.
This completed 1/1000-scale display model brings that elusive remastered-era design out of the distance and onto the shelf.
Built from a Modelwerks 3D-printed resin kit, the model was fully assembled, painted, detailed, and illuminated by Modelwerks artist Ron Gamble. Its deep green hull features a custom reptilian pattern, metallic accents, and vivid internal and engine lighting that give the vessel an unmistakably alien presence.
