The TOS Surya / Miranda / Avenger is the culmination of years of fan design.
When The Wrath of Khan was in production, the Miranda Class Reliant became the first new Federation design to reach the big screen in that era. In its original conception, the nacelles sat on top with a torpedo launcher below. That arrangement was eventually reversed for visual reasons, giving us the Miranda Class we all know and love — but the original configuration lived on among fan groups as the Avenger Class.
This kit takes the Miranda, the Avenger, and the fan-favorite, non-canon Surya and turns all three into highly detailed, 3D-printable 1/1000 scale model kits.
